NZB Festival Yearlings: NZ$70k Cecconi Colt

Matamata trainer Graham Richardson also paid NZ$70,000 for a colt by Westbury Stud's Australian-bred stakes-winning stallion Cecconi (the 4th foal out of 10-year-old Gold Brose mare Storm Brose) consigned by Westbury. Richardson commented: "The colt was a real nice sort & I had to have him. I purchased him for a syndicate of friends & I paid a little bit more than I intended to, but he was too nice a horse to let go."
