UK Tatts Dec Mares Day-3: $495k Quelle Amore
Thursday, 2nd December 2010
In the UK overnight, Japan's Northern Farms representative Fumihiko Nakajima (acting for principal Katsumi Yoshida) paid equal top price of 300,000 guineas (A$495,000) for Gr2-winning 7YO mare Quelle Amore (Monsun-Qelle Amie, by Beau Genius) during the 3rd session at the 4-day Tattersalls December Mares Sale. Quelle Amore (consigned from Andreas Jacobs' Newsells Park Stud) was offered in-foal to triple Gr1-winning Darley shuttler Dubawi (leading 2nd-season stallion in Europe this year).
