NZB 2YOs: NZ$95k O'Reilly Filly
In the NZ auction ring, Queensland Bloodstock agent John Foote paid top price of NZ$95,000 for an Australian-bred filly by Waikato Stud stallion O'Reilly (the 4th foal out of stakes-placed 12-year-old Grosvenor mare La Bianca) at the NZ Bloodstock South Island Sale of 2YOs & Mixed Bloodstock in Christchurch. The filly (a half-sister to the 2007 sale-topper & subsequent Listed Ray Coupland Stakes winner Moveovr) was consigned by Grange Farm & Foote commented: "She's a nice filly with a nice pedigree. I'll leave her in New Zealand for the spring to be broken-in & then take her back to Queensland before we make any more plans for her."
