US Gr1 Winner Startac To stand In Aust

US Gr1-winning 9YO stallion Startac (Theatrical-Tenga, by Mr Prospector) "has been purchased for stud duty at Westbury Stud in Pinjarra in Western Australia," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. On the track, Startac recorded 5 wins (4 stakes including the 2001 Gr1 Secretariat Stakes & 2002 Gr2 Belmont Breeders' Cup Handicap, plus 4 stakes-placings) from 19 starts & earned US$703,518. Startac's stakes-winning dam Tenga is a half-sister to Gr2-winner Jade Flush & 2nd dam Royal Straight Flush is a full-sister to champion Landaluce.
